The four young men that I call the St. Luke Spirit Musketeers.
2014 Summer Games General Information:
The 33rd Annual 2014 Keystone State Games Festival of Sports as well as the 32nd Pennsylvania Senior Games are taking place in the Greater Hershey / Harrisburg Area during the week of July 14 - August 3, 2014.
Over 23 Sporting Events will be contested during the 2014 "Olympic Style" Sports Festival. Since its inception in 1981 Keystone State Games, Inc. has attracted over 400,000 participants of various age groups into their events.
The Keystone State Games, modeled after the Olympic Games, are PA’s largest annually held multi-sport competitions providing Pennsylvania's amateur athletes an opportunity to compete against athletes from throughout the Commonwealth and beyond in a festival atmosphere that promotes all of the positive aspects of amateur sports.
The Keystone Games is a meet that Daniel used to tune up for AAU Nationals that will take place in Iowa in two weeks. As Coach Andrew Lofton said about the results of his team at the Keystone Game, everyone got metals galore.
The Flash received a first place in the 1500 Meter Run and third in the 800 Meter Run.
Daniel ran the 1500 Meter Run in 6 Minutes, 6.61 Seconds. At the end of the race, Daniel was fighting for his position against a twelve year old about 200 Meters out. The flash over took him about 80 Meters from the finish line.

The New Jersey Jamaicans native to Ocho Rios, Jamaica served as Daniel's cheering section as he neared the finish line.
Daniel as he keeps his form, running better than he did in the beginning of the year.
Daniel ran the 800 Meter Run in 3 Minutes, 7.16 Seconds placing 3rd in this event. Daniel and his running mate got off the starting line well. But again, at the end, Daniel struggled to keep his third place finish.
The coach was worried that his two young men would not be able to keep up the pace that they set for the rest of this group. He was correct.
You can hear the Jamaicans in the back ground telling Daniel that he can catch him. Then the coach started. That is when Daniel made his move and sprinted to the finish line. His opponent did not have it in him to stay with Daniel. At the end, you can see Coach Lofton and his son with all his metals.
- So far this 2014 Outdoor track season, at 9 years old, Daniel has proven to be an undisputed North East United States athlete in the 1500 Meter Run, qualifying for the USATF and AAU Region 2 Meets.
After Nationals, Daniel will start training for his first 5K Race in August. After his 5K track meets, he will go to Philadelphia in November to defend his 2K USATF Mid-Atlantic Championship.
Daniel's Bowling Party
Daniel will have to raise enough money for his plane fare and hotel logging to go to Cross Country Nationals in December. Please help Daniel by buying one of his $15.00 tickets that includes bowling shoes. See Stephanie Tulloch for details and to buy the tickets. You can give a $1.00 donation or more to his cause.
All funds go into Daniel's account at Integrity Bank in Colonial Park Mall. No funds are used outside of travel and lodging expenses. All money spent is on Daniel only for National Competition.
Donate to Daniel's Cause and say "go Daniel go!"
