Daniel Running the 1500 Meter on April 12, 2014
Bantam Boys Birth Year 2004-2005
Daniel is fighting his way back from appendicitis that he
suffered last winter. He is starting to show signs of strength again at this April
12, 2014 meet. We both had a serious attack of the flu. This flu has left me
weak to the point where I questioned going to this meet. It was very hard to
drive to my home in Maryland then to the Harrisburg area, just to turn around
and drive the Tulloch Family to the USATF
Mid-Atlantic Association meet today.
Daniel got out of the car at 10:00 AM and got onto the track
without warm-up to come in first in the 1500 Meter run with a time of 6 Minutes
16 seconds.
Two hours later, Daniel ran a 3 Minute, 3.34 second 800 meter run, placing 2nd behind one of his team mates.

I met with the coach and talked about some of the
corrections that Daniel will have to make in order to reduce his speed below 3
Minutes in the 800 Meter Run. The objective of Daniel running below a 3 minute ½
Mile is to make him fast enough to compete in National and International
events. This is the direction that we are taking Daniel later in his career.
